Hi Arefin, good question! In terms of time at college, we began with an 8 week launchpad where we intensively learned about coding, development and how to run a project, then we went back to work for 7 weeks, beginning a 7 week then 1 week cycle for time spent at work and college. For studying, all of the content is taught in around 4.5 days with half a day to do the exam from the previous module or to do self-study. Assignments are set at the end of each college week, to be submitted 2 weeks later, so it's very manageable to complete your assignments in the evenings after work or at the weekends, same as if you were at university (where you wouldn't be able to complete an assignment during lecture hours)

What type of work would one be doing at EY in their first year? Is this year more learning about the company and how they work whilst vaguely learning a variety of things? Or is it very hands on in terms of workload?

Hi Arefin. The beauty of Degree Apprenticeships is that the role and learning work together. The programme is designed so that you can apply what you learn in the workplace, and that you will have a role from day one.

How long is the recruitment process? And after how many months can you expect to receive a decision on your application?

Hi Arefin, it lasts between 6-12 weeks from initial application to decision. We endeavour to make the process as quick and as smooth as possible for you - have a look on our website for more information: https://ukcareers.ey.com/graduates/how-to-apply/application-process
