Do the digital innovation apprenticeships work toward an ACA qualification?

Hi Bertie, during the 3 year Digital Innovation apprenticeship scheme you will study towards a BSc degree qualification, either at QA Apprenticeships or Ada National College for Digital Skills

At QA, it's the BSc Digital & Tech Solutions, and the Data Analyst specialism.

There are two modules. There's Accounting for non-finance professionals (in the first year) and Assurance (in the second year). Your primary focus will be as a data expert, but working in Audit and Assurance setting.

For those applying to Consulting, Ada College offer a business pathway in Year 2 of the degree which has greater scope for including accounting-based modules

At the end of the 3 years in digital innovation, would it be possible to pursue a career with EY in Audit? Or would it have to be a digital innovation role.

If you are in the Assurance service line then your career is likely to continue in Assurance/Audit

And you should be passionate about Tech to join the Digital Innovation programme
