Doing a Maths degree at St Andrews or Edinburgh. As a recruiter, would you have a preference?
Additional information
I'm just about to leave school but still undecided on which uni to choose. I'd like a career in the business/banking/actuarial sector upon graduating. I think St A's might be the better uni based on student satisfaction but Edinburgh would be a better all round student experience. Just wondering, as a recruiter for the type of company I'd like to work for one day, if you would take graduates from one uni in preference to another assuming it's an equivalent degree.

Hi John, we don't have any preference over University, we recruit based on a person's strengths, not their University!

Hi John,
At EY we have actually adopted a blind recruitment process which means we don't look at race, gender, age or where you studied. We care more about the strengths you bring than the strengths of your school. My personal advice would be to pick your university based on where you will have the best time, where you will enjoy the most and where you will learn the most.
