I just applied for the apprenticeship yesterday and would like to know how long it takes to get a response?
Additional information
I've studied Business and Finance and I had a lot of work experience since I was 14 years old and I would like to know what my opportunities are, and how the recruiting process works? I sent my application yesterday.

Hi Anon, our student recruitment advise that the recruitment process from start to finish (from application to point of employment offer) may take around 6-8 weeks.
Since you have already submitted your online application, the next step for you will be online strengths-based testing (situational judgement, business behaviours and your mindset). If you pass this stage you will progress onto some general numerical and verbal ability assessments.
[Depending on the apprenticeship you have applied for, you may be invited to have a telephone interview (Business apprenticeship).]
Providing you progress through the above tasks successfully, you will be invited to an assessment centre at one of our offices. This will include a number of exercises in groups, pairs and individually, some of which may require pre-work and research done prior to your assessment centre.
If you pass the assessment centre, you'll be invited back to have a interview with and give a presentation to one of our partners who typically sits in the service line you applied for.
And after ALL of the above, and it all works out, you'll be made an offer in around a week after your interview!
Good luck!

Thanks for the answer, it was really helping, now the thing that worries me is if I had filled the application the right way, what if I missed something and it could result that I won't be considered. Is there any way how to get in contact directly with an recruiter?

You're welcome!
If you're missing anything vital off your application a member of student recruitment will contact you directly before you move onto the next stage to ensure that you have a full application the same as everyone else who applies. I had the same feeling when I first submitted my application - I thought maybe if I could get it back then I might be able to improve the way I wrote something, or if I missed anything I would fill it in etc. Don't worry about it: the trick is to focus on the next stage - the online strengths-based testing. Here's where you want to be doing some research on good business mindsets to have, workplace skills, how to interact and deal with colleagues. It may also help to do a bit of research on EY's company culture, as it may help you to imagine how we interact with our colleagues on a daily basis. And once you're confident with that then all you have to do is take the assessments!
If you are still very worried about any part of the recruitment process, then you can reach our UK student recruitment team at [email protected]
