Can I complete a summer internship in between my second and third year if I'm on a 4 year degree?
Additional information
I'm on a degree course with a placement year. If I have an offer for a placement year that starts in September and runs for 11 months. However I was also really interested in pursuing a summer internship with EY and and as such was wondering whether I'd be able to complete one in between my second and third year instead of my penultimate year. Thank you.

Hi, thank you for your question. Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to do a summer internship between your second and third year however, we do offer an Industrial Placement for your placement year which you can find out more information here - https://ukcareers.ey.com/graduates/our-programmes/undergraduate-programmes/industrial-placement-programme

Thank you for your response. In that case if I did have an offer for a summer internship, would it be possible to defer my place for a year?

Hi, thank you for your question. So you want to apply in your first year and then defer the summer internship offer to between your second and third year?

Not quite. My question is can I do a summer internship between my second and third year instead of in between my third and fourth year if I am on a 4 year degree? Thank you.

Hi, you wouldn't be able to do that unfortunately. It would only be our industrial placement you would be able to apply for.
