Hi Matt thanks for the question!
With regard to charity there is quite a lot going on. Within the Edinburgh office for example we have charity collections usually for someone who is doing their own charity work or has a charity they want to help. There is also opportunities to get more personally involved. I currently act as a mentor to a final year school pupil through the EY Foundation which is EY's own charity.

Thank you this is very encouraging. I am aware of the EY foundation, however was slightly unclear of what they supported. My understanding is that they support start-up companies?

You also get 2 CSR days a year which you can use at your discretion but we usually use them as a team in Edinburgh. This year we went as a team and collected money/ did gardening for a local charity.
To be honest you would be better reading on the foundations website but they do quite a few things.
The program I'm involved in is called Smart Futures and supports promising low income students through there final years at school. But essentially there are loads of options to get involved in different charity work at EY! hope this helps

CSR stands for Corporate Social Responsibility. Hi Matt, by the way, Andrew has just left the chat but I can answer any more questions you have!

Thank you. I think Andrew covered everything, unless you can tell me more about the EY foundation and what they support?

I can. So the EY Foundation is a charity that looks to support children from disadvantaged backrounds by getting work experience at EY. They get a mentor, work experience and support with employability skills.
