Depending on how you join the firm it varies, for school leavers and graduates. Graduates receive adequate blocks of time out from the office when they have exams. For example they join in September and go straight to ICAS to sit exams in the December, in this time they will come into the office for a maximum of 2 weeks. The rest is studying and revision. For school leavers, exams are staggered so that the most you would sit is one or two at a time. You will go to class at the start of the period for one week and then be provided with enough study and revision days through the period which are flexible for you to take. My last exam I took the Monday off each week for 7 weeks but if you'd rather you may have the option to take a week off at once. EY are flexible and supportive to ensure that you can prioritise your exams and have enough time to study and complete work requirements.
