What are the facilities like at EY, how do they help each employee with their individual needs?

Also what are the professional exams like? How does EY help school leavers cope with these sorts of examinations?

They are broken down over periods of time so that it's not too stressful for you. We also give you time off work to go to college to learn the theory you will be tested on a well as study leave just before each exam. There is alot of support n guidance. You have a councilor, manager and buddy who are all there to support you, as well as the rest of your year group and team

How would it compare to your typical school class and the ways of learning. Also what are the modules like in the different courses, I am looking at Tax and/or Assurance

Well, you are at work so you are not at school your time is divided between going to college to learn the theory and study towards your exams and the rest is spent doing the job practically. They are all fairly similar there will be a few modules that vary between service lines

So is most of the content shown in practical sense as well as at college

Yeah so whilst at college you will also lean about the theory of aspects in business that are not necessary to your service line but realavent to other areas of our bussiness

How many exams are taken within the school leavers apprentership program

Hi Liam, thought I would chip in as I am doing my ACA exams now.

You do 6 exams to get the CFAB - which is also the first tier of exams for ACA,
I think in total you do 15 exams.

What are their difficulty levels like?

They aren't easy but you get support through them - and the hard work reaps its reward once you're a chartered accountant

From some people taking some of these qualifactions now, how does studying economics currently at school help or does it not really mean much
