Hey, it depends on where you are applying/ what job you would be looking to get an apprenticeship in. We recommend applying earlier if you can, although I've known people get apprenticeships as late as August for the September that year but it would be very likely the apprenticeship and location you would be looking at could have all the vacancies filled.
There are no A Level grade requirements, so I would really recommend applying as early as you can. There are several rounds to the application process, I would say the assessment centre is the most difficult stage but there is plenty of research online and practice materials to help you with the tests.
Good luck :)

Thank you. Do you have any tips for the video interviews?

I think again just research online, I found a lot of questions I could prepare for on different websites from other people who had sat the same interviews, so none of the questions were a real surprise on the day, and even though your questions will likely be different, you should have answers that showcase your different skills which can be adapted slightly to respond to different questions.
Try and link the skills they're asking for to real life examples, such as another job you've had or even a project at school or college. Having a few of these prepared can go a long way and substantiate your answers.
Ask the interviewer questions at the end of the interview if it is an EY employee conducting the interview (Sometimes it is external interviewers); How do people find working at EY? What is the exam structure like? Etc. Asking questions shows that you're really interested in the job and not lacking in confidence.
Answer honestly, but just make sure you are as well prepared as you can be.
